Horde Side: Old hiding spot in WSG, new trick!

I'm going to be straight, and to the point. To all the flamers who say "No, NOT EXPLOIT, I haz REEL 1337 H4><", I want to say, this is an exploit, but not because of wall jumping, or anything like that.

I found this spot in WSG with a friend a while ago, and just came upon this pic again today, so I decided to share it with the MMOwned community. It is not an UNKNOWN hiding spot, but there are two things about it that make it one of a kind.

#1. When you're in it, it looks like you're on the ROOF, when you are actually outside the building.

#2. If you /lay in the place that I show you, the flag will go backwards through the wall, and so will be invisible to the onlooker. How is this helpful? I'll show you in a second.

The placement is underneath the little mill on the east side of the horde camp. You probably know it if you've ever done a twink battleground. However, if you lay down, the flag will go into the wall, like so:

Oh, this many.

Also, because it's such a small room, it can be almost impossible to see or target any specific person if there is more than one inside. Hence, with the flag in the wall, a healer and a dps inside, the more enemies start coming for you, the harder it gets to target and get inside your LoS. THAT is why it is a fantastic hiding spot.

In fact, if everyone is inside this, I have often (on my friends flag carrier) left the room with the flag, without them even noticing because it's so cramped!

So, the exploit is: The flag is invisible, and it looks as if you are on the roof when you are really underneath the building entirely

Just wanted to share this to MMOwned, and wanted to let you know that no, I did not find this spot in any way other than personal experience

Wrong. For one thing, that's a complete generalization, like saying
"Everyone who lives in America should already speak English fluently, English has been around for forever." Think that sentence is ridiculous? Well, so was yours.

Also, most people know about the SPOT, but most people DON'T know that on the map it looks like you're on the roof, nor do they know that if you're sitting down, the flag turns invisible.

Also, @mmyowned, what can't you picture about it? If you can't picture WHERE it is on the map, I'll get a picture on the map, and if you can't picture how to get into it, I'll show the entrance. Just tell me what you need

i must say you dont really sound that happy, anyway for this, never knew about this even though i have been playing wow since release

The reason he doesn't sound happy is because too many idiots with no time on theri hands troll this forum.

But anyway, yes, some pictures or a how to guide to get to this hiding spot would in fact be helpfull.
(I am asking for this ahead of time because we are bound to see 5 million posts later whining "I don't know where this is")

I was a heavy PvPer in Vanilla WoW and i did not know about this exploit, GJ.

Registered just to say the problems with this.

Have been playing since Beta.

- When you lie down, the flag does indeed clip through the wall, but your name no longer does (turn on your name and see how easy it is to see by other people)
- Not only is your body visible, it is clickable and targetable with TAB as well, no matter how many people there are with you
- Most players of WSG know of this spot and check it, along with behind the tree/shrine at the top of the hills in the back of each base

Good find though, hope it works for you once in a while
