Well i searched but couldn't find anything about this so i decided to post it since i think it is a bug/exploit.
What i find out is that druids can change idols during combat. This is good if u have 2 different once like i have ( one for SF and one for Wrath ), so if u proc eclipse that u didn't want u can change to that idol for additional DPS.
I dont have pictures/video to prove it ( didnt had time to make them/it ) but it wont be hard your you to test it

Reputation: 5 | | | Yes, Spidow is right, this is working as intended. A lot of the major macro creating websites will show you how to changes your idols in and out quickly. Thank you for trying to make it common knowledge though. |

Reputation: 120 Level up: 63%, 260 Points needed | | | | Except that when you switch idols in combat, it triggers the global cooldown. Which results in a substantial dps loss (the small bonus of the idols do not make up for the loss of 1 gcd every 10-15s). |

Reputation: 8 Level up: 55%, 183 Points needed | | | | Its the same with sigils, Good Dk's use this to their advantage, as its possible to change sigil after using a skill, and not incur the GCD cost.
Therefore I have a
/cast Plague strike
/equip Sigil of the unfaltering knight
Macro that I then follow with
/cast Icy touch
/equip Sigil of Awareness
This way I keep the + defense bonus from the tanking sigil, and the threat bonus from my Awareness sigil. |

Both make you lose DPS, probably to the point that the damage you could've done with that melee swing or GCD outweighs the benefit of changing your relic. I knew about this back in middle of BC. |

Sometimes do to lag ( today there was such a huge server lag in Ulduar that i thought it was turn based game ) that eclipse proc on something u don't want.
So i made macro
/equip name of 1st idol
/equip name of 2nd idol |
