Hi all,
got something to share with you. Found that a few IDs before. Used the search tool and didnt find anything about that topic.
If you are fighting against Ignis, your DDs can easily resist Ignis flamejets, if they cast an instant cast like living bomb exactly when the flamejetcast of ignis ends - you will resist 100 % of them - you wont get thrown in the air and also wont get the DOT. Could be very helpfull because your group wont get any more dmg....! just have to heal the MT, OT and the one in the Pot.
Short Version:
1. He starts the cast "flame jets"
2. you wait until the cast is about 1 - 0,5 sec before it finishes and you would get thrown in the air immediately
3. Throw an instant like LivingBomb on him
4. Resist

Reputation: 6 Level up: 80%, 80 Points needed | | | | im a ret paladin and i have NO SINGLE cast in the hole fight, and i get always the dmg of this ability, there is no different if i attack him during the cast or not.
the only diffrent i saw was when i do nothing at the hole cast then i get no dmg. |

if he is going to cast flamejet you have to wait until a second before you get thrown in the air - and do an instant - dont know if it is also working, if you end a cast in the right moment. but for sure, instants are working. |

At the time I wasnt sure what was causing me to resist so often but your explination makes sense as I always try get off a Living Bomb or Fire Blast just before he kicks me into the air. Will try test it out more on another toon asap. |

It has to end in the same second as flame jet ends. I will test it again in our raid this evening to confirm. Anyway, it would be no useful alternative, because it's hard to time. As a mage, I'd prefer the instant casts. |

This definitly works - i am going to make a video to confirm this.
Maybe an admin could look about the account creation time of ynoorb or the ip-address which was used.
@junkkiller: you definitly should post something topic-related or stfu with your f******* assumptions......! Make something meaningful....stop trolling |
