Lifestealing > Fiery. Crusader also owns fiery because it increases str by 100 which is a lot of damage. I've been dual wielding 2 fierys on my 19 rogue and actually did tons of damage with slice&dice. If you can afford it 15 agi/ LS is better. Anyways good tip best for those that can only afford fiery.

Nope, it's a 1H sword requiring level 19.

And for the record, my 19 twink rogue loves her dual Lifestealing, even though she uses daggers instead of slower swords. Procs a ton, increases damage output quite a bit, and helps to keep that health bar topped off.

good ideabut one thing wrong nomatter the weapon speed withslice and dice your fery procs will go up because you are hitting faster an example

say fiery procs 1/20 with a 1.5 speed weapon now use slice anddice (dont have real stats onme) and it cuts it in have so .75 speed now it is still going off 1/20 but it willseem like 1/10 since u getting double hits and same for slow speed wep

Lol, when i've gotten the crusader procs, i never notice any "OMG" damage. It's just "Oh, neat."

I have yet to try lifestealing, but crusader is just crap with its low proc %.



I've can rely more on my fiery procing on both items at the same time, then i can my crusader doing anything useful.

A few words on rogues in general...
You ALWAYS want to have the slowest weapon possible in your main hand if you use sinister strike much at all. Why? The slow weapon with the same damage per second has much MUCH more damage per hit than the fast weapon. When you see the special attacks as instant, speed no longer matters, so slow weapons own fast in a rogue's mainhand at ALL levels. However, the offhander should be a very fast weapon, and the weapon speed has nothing to do with fiery at all...

A few words on Fiery...
The proc rate of Fiery is fixed. On paper, it "seems" to proc more on a slow weapon, and n00bcakes everywhere swear that is the case...
Fiery procs roughly 6 times per minute on a mainhand weapon on the average. Speed of weapon has no effect. A VERY VERY slow weapon you swing 6 times per minute would parse at 100% proc per swing. An impossibly fast (nonexistant) weapon you swung 60 times per minute would average 10% proc rate... but at the end of the day Fiery will do the same amount of damage per minute no matter weapon speed. The ONLY time this will fluctuate is when it procs on special attacks, for an "extra" proc, and as stated above, they are instant, and weapon speed is meaningless to them.

Now, for maximum damage, yes a slow mainhander at 19 with fiery and nonstop slice and dice is going to RULE. But your offhander is going to be swung much less often, and proc far less frequently due to the nature of an offhander with no talent points into it, so I would look into the fastest possible to not miss any attack chances, and go for the +15 agi onto offhand.

Give that a try and I would expect your DPS meter to find slightly better damage output overall as well as better dodge than the duel slow with fiery.

Hehe I have a twink warlock...rogues dont really ever touch me I think that if anything the agi would help more to dodge my pet's minor damage. Nice thinking though intresting that it doesn't take slice n dice into account good find.

I did extensive testing on this in WSG and always always the 7-10k damage increase from the duel fierys outweighed the flat increase in crit % etc. from a straight +15 agility chant on the OH.

The proc rate on the OH is lower (i agree) but it still did more damage in the long run than +15 agility in the OH. When my other computer is fixed I will be glad to post pictures before and after
