Quest Curing The Sick

Quest info:

Level -1 [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] Obtained at level 14 Horde Use the Curative Animal Salve on 10 Sickly Gazelles that are located throughout the northern part of the Barrens; doing so should cure them. Sickly Gazelles have been reported north of the east-west road that runs through the Crossroads. [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]: 0/10 I was able to make enough salve for ten doses of curing, <name>. While I work with local authorities to try and make some more salve, I'd like for you to help us get a head start. All around the northern Barrens are sickly gazelles; use the salve on them and cure their malaise.

Dendrite Starblaze in Moonglade will want to talk to you when you're done, I'm sure. Please extend our thanks to the Cenarion Circle there... and let me say thanks to you directly for the help you've given! Have you completed what was asked of you by Tonga Runetotem at the Crossroads? Your work is not complete unless it is. You have done well in tending to the sickly gazelles of the Barrens; they are unwitting victims of a greater taint and corruption that is spreading all throughout the land. You <race> are most eager to understand the ways of Cenarius; you, like your elders in Thunder Bluff, are proving that the need for balance transcends artificial racial barriers.

<name>, you've proven your worth as an friend of nature and the Circle - take this as a symbol of such.

What to do:

What you have to do is Cast Entangling Roots rank 1, on a Sickly Gazelle, then you cure it, then the Entangling roots is still on him, and once it kills him you get another "cured" so that means you get 2 for one.

If you use entangling roots on the deer, then cure, you kill the deer, but as it dies, you get a second 'cure' credit.

Complete the quest in half the time - then throw away the rest of the salve!

Found this by accident (rooted the deer so it wouldn't wander too far) and laughed...

Probably an exploit, but a worthwhile one!

If you look infront of me you will see him entangled. (if you look at the top you will see how it says 5 sickly gazelles, then the next picture when it dies it will say 6.)



Sorry its hard to screenshot it because you have to cure it fast before it dies.

It's awesome because 1, if your trying to level fast, or 2, theres not that many Gazelles, well there hard to find, so this helps out a lot.

there are better ways for fast grind, and if i remember right its not even *amustdo* class quest... good tip yeah.

Abolish poison is far superior tbh, I didn't do this quest until I was well into 60 and was bored for a new spell.

This is one of the oldest things I've seen reposted.

this 'awesome' trick has been working since release, and it's been posted on the comments page for this quest on just about every WoW database site in existence.

good little exploit but i already knew it since its kinda hard to find gazelles sometimes this is great ^^
