The daily quests involve blowing up rocks and delivering flowers to the lady of the lake.

After blowing up a rock in the Storm Peaks fragments will appear on the ground nearby; you can pick them up irrespective of whether you were the one to destroy the boulder. That's fairly useful, since there are a LOT of 80s in the zone competing for the boulder spawns.

Also, the quest "A Worthy Weapon" involves going to the Icecrown dam and collecting 4 flowers and then delivering them to the lady of the lake in Dragonblight. Well that's a lot of travel time. Much faster is to go straight to the lake in Dragonblight; you can collect the weapon regardless of whether you deliver flowers or not. There are 80s coming in every minute to collect it for the daily, so there's practically no wait time.

Yep, saw some Alliance warrior taking my stone-blocks yesterday and that was the initiator of a nice OpenPvP battle since there were a lot of hordes and allys around that got involved. (I'm a Dotlock, Corruption heals better when cast on many enemys )
Definately not a effective way to get it done fast, but if you like to play like an *******, do so.

Also don't do the Flower-Thing at rather mid-populated servers... If you are unlucky you may wait quite some time...
But if you got a friend with the same quest (There are 3 possible quests) let him get the flowers while you fly ahead or farm some stuff.

Thanks all, my server is quite full so there are always people competing for the blocks and dropping off their flowers so I stopped bothering to collect them myself

Blizzard usually make this sort of thing bind to the character who breaks the block or drops off the flowers...oversight on their part

I tested the second one and had to wait about 40 minutes for a single other person to come by.
