I specced 17/51/3 recently.
Logged out after a while of doing WG. Or well, i got disconnected due to massive lag.
Ought to be no problem getting a DC with netlimiter or pulling the plug. Shouldn't really matter.
When i log back in, i'm specced 17/50/3.
The talent where i put Frost Strike has vanished. But i still have it in my spellbook, and it IS useable.

I thought, AHA. This must be exploitable. Sure enough.
When i respecced, i got that extra talent point so i had 72 points to distribute, and i STILL had Frost Strike rank 6 in my spell book.

Anyway, here's the sweet part. You can get howling blast for 50 points, instead of 51 points. Just specc to 49 points, and you can click on Howling Blast.
Yay! You have 22 (1 extra point) points left, even though you have a 51 point talent.



I do not know if this works with dual speccs.
But it's damn nice beeing able to have Mark of Blood and Howling blast together, or Frost Strike as blood specc as the RP dumper. Glyphed it's only 32 RP.

Noticed it works with Heart Strike/Scourge Strike aswell, and Dancing Rune weapon acquireable with 50 points aswell.

Rolling retstarts on servers... I'm guessing this is being patched. I am writing this as Anvilmar is being restarted.

I'm 15-6-48 with unholy blight and scourge strike removed, I figure this is even more exploitable because of 2 extra points.
Anyways, this will probably get fixed since it has already been reported on the US WoW Forums as a ,,glitch'' and not a exploit

Regarding rolling restarts.
Still works for me.

Respecc and you'll keep unholy blight and Scourge strike, regardless of specc.

Although nobody that did this will get banned, since the popular excuse will be ,, I thought it's a glitch and i respeced'' I won't do it because it will probably ruin the game balance for me, how can I brag about being awesome when i'm cheating?

Although I could have Scourge Strike and UNholy Blight + Howling blast from Frost Tanking respec, I think it would ruin the game.

Just my view on talent exploits, other exploits are fine since blizz made such a nice job making peopel grind for 1 week for epic mount.
