ok this is kinda funny becouse this happened by accident, i was questing for the netherdrake and i was a fel orc in the netherledge.
so i relogged and flew away a l ittle later and then when i was out of the fel orc area i turned back to tauren, BUT my mount stayed an netherdrake... so i hope this helps a little (you have a higher chance of succeeding if you get a dot on you before you mount up)

(PS i took the route over netherwing pass... i did this 4 times now so it wasent just luck)

Probably until you logout as it's a bug hehe. Else it would be cool if the mount stayed.

Tried every possible way, it's not really repeatable.

Guildmate of mine had it like 3 times now, he has no idea how he did it, he just flew and he got transformed back into his normal self, but the mount stayed the same. So he's in Shattrath city getting whispers like crazy that he has no life :P

So do share some more info how to do it (repeatable). When to log out (dismounted or not), where, what exact path...etc

Doesn't really matter when or where do you do it, it's random. I guess you just need to be lucky.

ok i found out how u have a higher chance to get this (it is repeteble and it stayes untill u dismount) you got to have a DOT on you when you mount it increases your chance that it'l work

and what do you mean tripple posts? o.0
