Hey there MMOwned, this is a Exploit found by myself after wiping in Naxxramas 10 Man Yesterday several times with a Random Group.
So what are the Basical Problems at Saphiron with Randoms?
- Blizzard ( Movement )
- Drain Life ( Dispelling )
You can't make sure that everyone is able to do his Job if you are not used to play together. That Equals that maybe some of your Group die, because of Drain Life or Blizzard.
And in my Opinion, the most critical Problem as a Random Group is the Ice Bomb, dropped by Saphiron from time to time. It's the highest priority to avoid to let someone die during this Phase of the fight, and this is exactly what this Thread is all about, Here a Picture of Saphiron's Room.
Green = Tank Spot Yellow = Saphiron Pink = Caster & Healer Spot Lila = Meele DD's Spot
Those are the most used spots for Saphiron, and the best ones in my Opinion.
So what you do now basically is, instead of Waiting for someone to become a Ice Block and hide behind him, which is pretty dangerous though, because some Blocks are Buggy(?) or bad-shaped.
You group Up at the Place of the Caster & Healers:
Red = Raid-Group up Spot
From there you see the 3 "Chambers", how I call them, marked with a "---->".
In those ones you wont get hit by the Ice Bomb dropped by Saphiron, and it sure that 100% of your Raid is going to Survive it. Just Run there as soon and as fast as Possible, there just get yourselfs into this Position:
Red = Safe Spot.
Make sure to Stay there as close to the Wall AS POSSIBLE!
Just tested this in 10 Man, but I don't see why it shouldn't be possible in 25 Man Raid.

I tested it Right-Hand side Yesterday, and it works on EVERY Chamber there ... If it works Left i dunno, but I think so and I don't know why it shouldn't ...
Thanks Didn't know about this. Are you sure, it's an exploit though? I mean, the bomb is blocked by getting out of "LoS" and it's basically what you do here, isn't it?
No it isn't LoS it's out of Range, and I can't imagine why Blizzard should let the PPL use this since it's thought as a "Hurry up, and go behind the Block" Spell.
I never said something else than Outranging it, and I never Claimed it to be a hack or sumthing.
And it is NOT working as intended that would be Stupid.

All you are doing is simply out ranging it since it only has a 70 yard range. So working as intended.
IF its working as intended, then why do you still get hit if you are at the entrance (or the area you get teleported into when you first go to saphiron)? I believe that area is more then 70 yards away from saph.
The problem with using the walls, is that's it bad for the tank to go there (and if the rest of the raid is already there, then the tank has to) because that's a long ways to travel to pick the boss back up and if they use some sort of charge ability, they will now be out of range of the healers...it's best just to do it the regular (and easier imo)
