[Exploit] Stealth-Chute

Greetings,

now this is my first little exploit I found and it's kinda fun when you're assaulting 1k-Winter in a fast pace, you'll read why:

First of all, this is for all who are
- Engineer + Rogue
- Engineer + Druid (I guess it works too)

You'll need a [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] (Engineer Recipe) for your cloak for this little piece of fun...

What I do is:

- Fly to 1k Winter (when the battle is HOT HOT HOT)
- Wait for the dismount right above the castle
- Let the regular parachute fly you above the spot where you want to land
- Dismiss the regular buff
- A few seconds before the regular landing open your Engineer Parachute and right after that press your Stealth Button.
- It will result in a stealthed You+Parachute
- NOONE will see your parachute, it will stealth together with you.

=> Result: You land safely in the enemy base, noone saw you, go kill your enemy from within their base.
=> ADDITION: I just found that...you won't get unstealthed even if you take falldamage when the Parachute runs out of juice AND you're already stealthed on it!!

I just added:
When you take falldamage after the parachute is gone, you WON'T be out of stealth!

doesn't require engineering, i use Skyguard's Drape (bought from Sha'tari Skyguard - Revered) for the same effect, although you can do more often being an engineer

True, plus you can have a Top-Quality Cloak with the same effect as an Engineer.
Still, it's pretty interesting that it works with it.

I just saw a picture of a Druid-Cat on a Parachute so it should work as a Druid too!

fall damage doesnt unstealth you, even with no parachute... assuming it doesnt kill you

Don't think shadowmeld works - cause you need to be standing still to use shadowmeld. It will probably just say "can't do this while moving"

This also works when parachtuing into wintergrasp after being dismounted. Could possibly have some tactical applications.

I've always done this, didnt know it was an exploit, I thought this would be working as intended.

I do this a lot actually. If Im anywhere near a ledge or soem steps, I'll hit my Nitro Boosts, run, jump, parachute, then stealth. It's pretty amazing to see from another point of view, there's this flying cat (I'm a druid) then POOF he's gone... then he pops up WAY the hell over yonder.

you dont need a parachute cloak or anything ... a rogue or druid can simply fall with the parachute on and still be stealthed... and you dont usually come out if you take fall damage so either way... i dont suggest going and getting engineering just to do this... simple ctrl f1 to put you in stealth as a rogue or just clicking the icon will suffice
