If you just missed a boat, cast water walking on yourself and stand in front of the boat as it starts to leave. It will push you into the next zone and you don't have to wait a couple minutes for another boat. Very useful for when you stand too close to the edge of the dock and the boat pushes you off.
Also, for the new style boats to Northrend, you can use water walking and jump to the tip of the front and zone that way if you fall off.  |
