[Exploit] 10 min super buff time

Not sure if repost, but there is a daily in the scholsar basin in Nothrend called The power of the great ones. Where you go and energise this crystal and go whoop some little dudes backsides, but i wondered if that buff could be used in a raid instance. We found that when our MT got the buff, a lock summened him back straight away (we are in naxx, doing patchwork), and got tanking on him. Needless to say we found that it indeed absorbe those hatefull strikes and nasty hits quite well.

Not sure what numbers it blocks, but might be usefull in other situations also

This is the buff: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

Basiclly, what it does is:

Effect #1Apply Aura: Proc Trigger Spell
Proc chance: 100%

Effect #2Apply Aura: Mod Dmg % Taken (0)
Value: -50

So that would be erh 100% proc chance and 50% less damage taken, if this buff still remains in raid instances this would be super awsome

While on this quest, killing the frenzyheart yield no exp. However, you can loot still.

Also, the 10 minute attack/heal buff you get from using the Crystal only works when you kill frenzyhearts and is non-effective against other creatures in the basin.

Turn-in for this quest is at 33,74, not the location of the quest giver. Save yourself some time and turn in after you are done and dont go all the way back to where you picked up the quest.

Well, one thing says it only works on Frenzyheart, but the OP said their tank used it on Patch. Anyone else try?

I know that the buff is gone once you exit the sub-zone where the quest is completed. ;(

this can be very useful at Sarth +3D at the point the tank gets 50-70k breaths, but its very easy with a good guild too without the exploit ;P

So do you lose it if you leave by air or foot, but keep it if summoned?
