Double shadow weaving proc?
So i was playing on my lvl 53 priest in Un'Goro. While killing some mobs i used a rotation of Vampiric Touch, Mind Blast, Shadow Word - Pain. That gives me 3 stacks of Shadow Weaving, that increases shadow damage done by 6%. After this i used ONE mind flay, and it immediately gave me full 5 stacks of shadow weaving! So i went ahead and tried only Mind Flay and it always gave me 2 stacks per one cast.

I think I know why it happens, the spell itself causes it, then one tick from it after, so 2 procs of Shadow Weaving.

It's like Rohl said, Mind flay is bugged and gives 2 stacks instead of one

Since Mindflay counts like a dot (it does)

Could this be the refresh of SW:P that gives you one more stack of Shadow Weaving? Try using MF without having SW:P on the target, maybe you only get one stack.

Going to try it. It's actually proven you got 2 Shadow Weaving stacks with MF, +rep from me.

Can conform that it does indeed give two stacks of Shadow Weaving.

VT > DP > MB > MF > SWP for a 5xSW proc before you apply SWP for the most benefit.

Nope, it doesn't give a shadow weave stack everytime. Thats why it's bugged out.

I think i said i tried it with ONLY mind flay, from 0 stacks to 5 stacks, and it gave 2 stacks of Shadow Weaving every time.

MB is back up then anyways.

Though I have enough time to squeeze SWD in after SWP and before the second MB because of my haste.
