Not sure if this is intentional or not but when a hunter places a freezing trap down a mage can icelance it for the added dmg like i said i am not sure if it is supposed to work off hunter traps could be useful for arenas maybe?

This used to work with freezing trap as the target was "frozen".
Even if it still worked ( I think it still works for frost DK's AoE Ice Trap. ) it's considered common game mechanics.

I think it's been nerfed 'cause of Deep Freeze. (deep frost spec) If a Hunter could just frost trap somone, then the Mage could use Deep Freeze without having to affect the target first himself. Something like that, even.
