Fire, Frost, and Arcane Mage

I looked as much as possible. I found absolutly nothing. This probably apply's to all classes. But recently I used too play a 40 Ice mage in 2.4.3. I quit him and was playing a warrior. He was specced Ice and had Ice block and Ice barrier, and etc. Now, I haven't played on him since then. I now when I logged in my talents were reset. But, I still got Ice barrier, and Ice block on my actiobars.

====How to do this=====
1.)First thing, spec whatever you want to have. Like a certain skill inside a certain
Spec tht u want too use.
2.) do this before a patch will supposedly nerf talent trees, and reset it. This is
Very unlikely usually, but for future advice.
3.) Put all the skills u want too keep on the actionbars. Not ur main bar, the action bars(Shift+5 n 6)
4.)after the patch ur skills should still be there and usable. But now you can spec to whatever you want. This could be good for arms/fury warriors *wink wink*.
5.) Go and enjoy

I am a 40 mage tht has ice barrier, ice block, and is PoM Pyro. Hehehehe

1. Iceblock is NOT bound to your Spec anymore.

But why you got Barriere idk. Maybe ur Char is bugged noch be happy and used it as long as no one checks your char ^^

This is silly. U can try cast any spell without having them to actionbar:

/cast Ice Barrier

You say this works without spec xD ?

Something similar happened to me, i got my skill points renewed and spell icons remained in my action bar. However, the spell icons were useless without actually knowing the spell:P And as Werid0 said, iceblock aint skill bound anymore.

I guarentee this is a copy + paste from some site about a year ago. Any mage worth his salt knows IB is no longer a spec skill.

You trained iceblock before, and it's default now, so it'll stay on your bars regardless. As for Icebarrier, are you sure you didn't have an icebarrier macro?

Remember, too, that since a patch or two ago, you don't really FORGET spells you paid to learn higher levels of, but can't cast any more because of a respec. So there's a glimmer of hope in this sort of thing working, but I misdoubt it highly.

You could try a /cast with a level of the spell higher than 1 to test.
