[Exploit] EASY SKADI THE RUTHLESS (Utgarde Pinnacle)
I was running Utgarde Pinnacle today.. and we came to Skadi The Ruthless-- Who can prove to be a pain in the ass at times because there is a lot going on at the same time.. and dome people are too dumb to know how to stay out of an AoE while picking up harpoons lol.
Anyway we came accross a little exploit for downing him exremely easily. and it also gives you free rep/exp as well!!
ENJOY!!!
STEP 1:
Start the boss fight and walk back into the doorway (not too far) To this spot
Just stand there and wait for the mobs to come to you... pick up the harpoons as normal because ur gonna need them
Eventually the mobs will stop coming completely... takes about 4 minutes
no more mobs ^^^^^
STEP 2:
Run all the way down to the end of the hallway where the boss is flying around on his drake. Reset the bossfight.. and all of the mobs will come running out of the door at once
Simply AoE the mobs down-- this is exremely easy now because there is no more fog to have to deal with and they drop like flies-- I took them down with a single Death and Decay on my tank.
STEP 3:
Once they are dead.. simply shoot the boss with the harpoon... down him and enjoy your loot and the rest of your instance!!

This is already known to be used to get 2 Heroic Achievements done for the Red Proto drake.

My Girl Loves to Skadi All the Time
Defeat Skadi the Ruthless in Utgarde Pinnacle on Heroic Difficulty after having killed Grauf from 100% to dead in a single pass.
Difficulty: 4
The method used for this achievement is the same one used for Lodi Dodi We Loves the Skadi. Harpooners spawn during the gauntlet event every other wave.
Your group can lazily kill wave after wave until each member loots one Harpoon. After they do, run out of the gauntlet room and the boss will reset.
Run back in quickly and get to the end of the hallway before the boss reappears. When you're ready, have someone run up to the boss to start the gauntlet.

Theres actually another way to do this.
Start the boss.
run in to the room and wait for the boss to despawn.
Now you got like 10 seconds to run to the end and kill mobs
Happend for me by a mistake (Tank didnt get there in time)
Yeah, this was posted before on MMOwned. This is just the way to get the achievements.
In case you didn't know, there's also a spot near the harpoon launchers, near the launchers to the right. It's either to the right of the far right launcher, or in between the far right one and the one beside it. Sorry if you don't understand.
