All the gear I collected from 77-80 was resto gear, but I heard about these axes and respecced.
With the blue/green gear from quests / assembled without enchants (and using resto glyphs)
I out dps'd my almost full epic Ret Pally friend and he got really pissed when I told him he should go holy :O (I was always the healer for our groups)
A few tips from my testing so far...
1. Hit rating is extremely important, every time your weapon misses you're potentially missing out on a huge chunk of damage
2. Crit rating is also very important, as long as flurry stays up you do INSANE damage.
3. I tested all kinds of combinations on the 80 heroic dummy,
frostbrand MH, flametongue OH is indeed top dps
4. Watch your aggro...
5. Enjoy pm's like WTFZOMGHAX white weapons?
Can someone confirm whether frostbrand/flametongue crits proc flurry? If so crit is that much more important
Also, move to elite IMO, this is incredible.

(inside the inn) complete the first 5-6 of those quests till you get turned into one of the blue women. Once you get transformed go buy your weapons. |

only beat by a bm hunter doing 3200..
next highest from us was 2600 lol

And I know it was working for me earlier since I can in first on a archavon raid by 2k dps over second place. |

Reputation: 6 Level up: 90%, 43 Points needed | | | Confirmed to work. Our Restro Shaman respecced and out-dps-ed me (huntard) and our Fury Warrior by about 700 DPS in all blue, some epic. He did hit his hitcap though, logically it's the most important thing to never miss with this exploit, because the chainreaction will collapse otherwise. But I bet Blizz is going to fix this during the 15 Min. Downtime. If not, enjoy until hotfix 
+rep, even if I can't use it as a hunter. |

Reputation: 19 Level up: 81%, 97 Points needed | | | | Firstly, I doubt they will patch this anytime soon, the mechanics are pretty borked and there is no easy fix except to remove the proc.
Secondly, some tips to really max out performance of this exploit. Spell hit cap with raid gear is 377 (provided you raid with a boomkin/SPriest) and that's the important number (protip, eat hit food). If you have gear that doesn't have hit on it definitely swich it out for SP/Crit gear. Enchant the weps with 50SP and rock the SP flask.
Rotation should be MW 5 proc, SS, ES then LL. You will net nice dps from static shock as well if you can get into the 2k SP range.
One of our resto shams went enh with this setup with only hit gear from 10 mans/heroics and put out 5.5k on patchwork in a 25 man tonight, made me giggle inside.
