if you have a frozen account that you need to do something on (such as transfer items/gold, or if you are trading/selling it to make the other guy think it has time on it or to meet the other guy ingame), then all you need to do is sign on to your account on the WoW website and sign up/get the 10 day WOTLK free trial. Then you have 10 days of account activation.
This is probably just stating the obvious but a few people might not have though of this . Also technically you are exploiting the 10 day free trial feature, but if this isnt considered an exploit let me know and ill delete this thread. |

This also works for TBC with level 1 players. Its still not an exploit.

I couldn't confirm it myself.... But im 99% sure this would work on a Frozen account 
Nice idea, I wouldn't have thought of it.

Nice idea, I wouldn't have thought of it. | i was going to try this on my banned account from years back but i forgot all the login info. As far as i remember though you cant even reach the page to sign up for a trial if you are banned |
