These mobs give you 5k experience a kill, they are found around the coords 59, 22. They have around 20k health, and hit for 900 on clothies. I have been farming these for about 3 hours now and have gone from 74 to 75 in that time.

I died because I tried to aoe farm them  Being fire sucks for that. nonetheless you get alot of experience, and as these are quest mobs that are meant to be killed at around 90% hp, blizz did not intend for the to be soloable |

2200000 health between those 110 mobs means you was doing 12222 DPS overall in 180 minutes average.

And if you find the rare mammoth in the area near the temple, it gives you 26K exp non rested if you're 70. That's when I soloed it, and it's a lvl 73. Easily kiteable, slower than normal run speed. |

You can take up to 15 on you and they give 750-800 xp each you do the maths |

Reputation: 3 | | | I was doing this to get to get from level 76-77 on my Shadow Priest. Went very fast cause I was rested.
Took me 35-45 seconds per kill and got 5600 xp (rested) per kill. I was getting around 350,000-400,000 xp an hour like that with my down time.
The thing is they are easily soloable, and they are always there, no respawn timer to wait for since there are multiple ones. And if you have the quest, and accidently take on too many you can just destroy one with a click.
I was going to post this myself since it is a good grind spot if you are rested... but then again, everywhere is a good grind spot rested. |

Reputation: 20 Level up: 92%, 33 Points needed | | | | I killed them with my warlock for abit. They can be feared which makes it even easier. Took me about 25sec for each with full t6. If you dont do quests, then this is a good alternative to lvl. Otherwise the XP from quests is more worth combined with the gold you make. Its fun and less of a hassle than killing the magnataurens that hit much harder than the worms, at least for cloth. | |
