[PvP exploit] See stealth players
Hi everyone,
I have see a cool thing in arene, that help you to find stealth players.
How it work : A new quest is available in shattrath that tell you to go speak to your race leader (like Wrynn for the humain)
During this quest there is a ghost that follow you.
The exploit is here, in arena if you opponents are stealth and have the quest you see the ghost follow them !
It very usefull to dont let them open you with cheap shot or other thing.
Thats no quest, its the item that drops of the invasion mobs from the Scorge Invasion event.. The throw to a nearby friendly player item, like a thick leather ball.. Can't remember the name of the item right now, but players that recently got this thrown to them will also have a "Haunted" buff..
It's not from the quest. There is an item that drops from the zombie event around the world. Called haunted Memento: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]. The ghost follows you like a non-combat pet would. I love mine. ^^
(There might be one from the quest as well, i remember getting the whispers in Exodar, but I'm sure what you saw was the Memento.)
Technically that doesn't work. That Ghost that follows is really slow, so it lags behind. While you may think it might be like a hunter pet..it could be on one side of the arena while the stealthed player is behind you, already opening up on you.
to all those that say its not from a quest, yes it is, it is from both an item and quest, in the quest the "ghost" appears randomly and stands there whispering you to join arathas. so techincally if someone had this you couldn't tell where they are anyways because the ghost from the quest doesn't follow them, it just appears in one spot and disapears after a time, nice idea but think in pratice it really isn't that practical

Anyways, there is no way to exploit this at all, it is totally useless. That's like saying "One time my friend the rogue forgot to stealth and walked up to me. I saw him and was like amagawd. Exploitz!"
Just because another player is an idiot does not mean it's an exploit.
I got a rogue myself , when I stealth the ghost disapears . I`d log in wow now to show screens too but my server's queue is somewhere at 600 ( 15 minutes wait time ) and i`m freakin` bored too .
When the rogue stealths the ghost disapears . End of story .
