Two days in a row now ive ran kara (Tanked on paladin, DPS'd on a mage).
During chest, because Xperl wont let me click buffs off, i had to ICEBLOCK or BUBBLE to get out of it, with this, it let me keep the buff "Control piece".

Basically, during chess a person can Bubble (if a pally) or iceblock (mage) during chest instead of clicking off the "control piece" buff and you will become immune to everything, fall damage, pushbacks, knockbacks, mobs basically evade you. 
Not recommended if you are the tank o.O

when i was tanking, i would throw my shield and everyone would nuke and no mobs would come to me, so on my pally i just walked and face pulled, still nothing. so i had to turn xperl off  |

Reputation: 417 Points: 13,899, Level: 15 | Level up: 22%, 1,101 Points needed |  | | | There is a bug now that when you use bubble/iceblock/cloak of shadows(?) while the chess piece buff is on you, you will get out of the chess game BUT you retain the buff. What the buff actually let you do is becoming "invisible" for the mobs. You can hit them, you can bark at them but they won't come at you.
Happened to me in Kara but it was 2 weeks ago, thought they had fixed it. Also you can do it by blessing of protection, or that other one...not only with holy shield, but also a other paladin shield buff.
I've yet to see it casted on casters because then they would basically go overnuke without to worry about treath much etc. Prince shadow nova anyone?

If you can kill things, are you able to zone out of the instance and into other ones?

They wont fight back, no you cant zone out with the buff.
they just ignore you, but hey you dont take fall damage or any damage lol |

Reputation: 31 Level up: 13%, 609 Points needed | | | | This explains why the other night I was running Kara on one of my alts, and the Pally tank after chess event couldn't initiate combat at all.. lol.. we had a rogue evasion tanking pulls until prince, then she relogged and it went away. |

it was funny when the big one of those... biochemical disasters walk by and i threw my shield, hit it and the 2 little ones right after chess and everyone nuked them and died as i stood there, ignored. |
