[Arena] bem exploit.

ok i searched for pillar and arena and bem, lades edge etc and couldnt find this so if you can then w/e.


basically its the small wooden logs that are verticle on the ramps there, you can jump behind them and NO RANGED SPELL can get to you.. good place to drink/eat or restealth if your a druid/rogue. good place to bandage....especially vs full caster teams.


ofcourse you can still be melee'd, but if you are vs a warlock/druid combo for example, and you need to restealth/eat/drink/bandage... you run there jump behind the log and then do it.. they need to get into melee range to stop you doning what your doing.


this spot has saved me countless bem games when i was low on mana (i play a 1900 rated druid). most high rated people know of this, but thaught id share with the lower rated people.

Heres what i think hes trying to show... if image works
If the caster walks around the log.. he can still attack you with dots, theres just a log in the way (Line of sight)

It's an exploit because it's taking advantage of a glitch in the way the arena was made, normal line of sight is blocking sight by having an object inbetween you and the opponent. This shouldn't be classified as LoS because you're still able to melee them, but aren't able to attack them with spells. It could be 20 seconds before they stop trying to throw a frostbolt from every angle and run up to slap you with their dagger. That's a lot of time to drink, and do anything else you need.

So seriously all you retards that are saying it's not an exploit, or that it's an exploration--stfu, if it was an exploration, it'd be like "the way they painted the dirt on the ground, it looks like a smiley face!!1!" This is actually useful, so don't act like a dick.

Watch em, at some point during it you will see what the OP is talking about--jumping behind the pillars so you're inbetween the ramp and the pillar LoS from all angles, and not just standing on one side of it as shown in the stupid drawing above.

Have you even gone on live realms and done this yourself?
You cant go inbetween those pillars as any race
