[Exploit] TRIPLE GOLD ON WOTLK Beta

Ok here is the deal

you know for the WOTLK beta you are permitted to copy up to 3 characters onto your beta account right?

Ok here is what you do to get triple the gold onto your WOTLK beta test account

Step 1: TRANSFER ALL of your gold to 1 character-- doesnt matter which one

Step 2: copy character number 1 onto the beta realm

Step 3: Log back onto retail and transfer all your gold to a second character

Step 4: copy character number 2 onto the beta realm

Step 5: Transfer all your gold to a third character

Step 6: copy character number 3 onto the beta realm


YOU WILL THEN HAVE 3 characters on the beta realm-- ALL OF THEM WILL HAVE HOW EVER MUCH GOLD YOU HAD IN THE FIRST PLACE

so if you started with 1000G you will now how 1000G per character= 3000G total!

you can now transfer this all back to the original character!

actually this isnt an exploit and its just common sense, and your wrong when you say blizzard dont want you to do this, when then invite entire guilds to the beta they can bring there guild bank with them, so that seems to me like they dont mind you bring extra stuff.

Its something un-advertised and im using general blizz policy in a way that isnt really intended-- your not "Bringing extra stuff" you are trippling your stuff

It isn't an exploit. It may not be Blizzard's intention to allow people to transfer multiple versions of their character over for gold, but it's been going on for a long time, and it isn't bannable, you won't be warned for it either. Guilds do it all the time for PTRs, I'll pull 50k gold from the guild bank, xfer over to the PTR and then it's free repairs to everyone.

It's like saying that multi-boxing RAF is an exploit. It may not have been Blizzard's intention to have people double boxing and referring themselves, but it isn't bannable, and it is acceptable.

in that case you have 50k gold- and transfer 50k gold

in my case-- you have 1k gold-- and TURN IT INTO 3k gold
