RaF level 60 in 20 mins-Requires leveling to 60 on 2 toons first..?fail?
So anyways this is partial fail because i found out you have to level 2 toons to level 60 on the recruited account before you can accomplish this. On the flip side if you planned to level two toons to level 60 anyways why not get a 3rd for free right? So...
First off i'd like to tell the flamer to S.A.D. This is not my idea and i take not credit for its discovery.
Very good now.. where was I. Ah yes. it was posted on WOW insider and it did have a legit video on a live server in which i checked armory. That being said i'm planning to start this tonight.Then transfer the toons to main account. In hopes of getting 3 levels 60's for the price of 2.
So props to wow insider. Again this is meant for community sharing as some members here may not be familair with wowinsider i've decided to share information again on an informal basis only. I will always continue to share and distribute useful information to the community as I feel it is our responsbility as members to contribute. That being said heres the guide and link to the video. WoW Recruit-A-Friend FAQ:
"For every two levels the new player earns, the new player can grant one free level-up to a lower-level character played by the veteran player."
"[The] recruit may not grant a level to a character that is level 60 or higher."
WoWInsider Article:
"Brian had to level two characters to 60 on his recruited account to get a total of sixty level grants."
So. The WoWInsider Author created a 2nd WoW Account with his primary WoW Account being the recruiter. On the recruited account, he levelled 2 characters up to 60. Every 2 levels, he gained one grantable level. 30 on the first character and 30 on the 2nd character for a total of 60 grantable levels.
The grantable levels were then given to the paladin on his original account. Technically, 58 levels were given to level up to 59. The way the terminology reads on the WoW FAQ it sounds like level 60 must be obtained by normal means, however, it may not be programmed that way because it looks like the character was in fact able to reach 60 via the granted levels.
So.
Account One:
Have a level 61+ character
Account Two:
Recruited by Account One
Level 2 characters to 60
Account One:
Create a brand-new character
Use 60 grantable levels on brand-new character
Thus, instant level 60 character... after spending time to level 2 others to 60 on a recruited account.

Not an exploit. Also as soon as you level a character on a recruited, linked account to 60 the grant a levels disappear, and so the maximum level that you can grant is 59.

Before Refer -A- Friend I had the following Charcters
Level 70 Shaman Enhancement - Main
Level 70 Shaman Elemental - Didn't feel like spending the gold switching
Level 70 Hunter
About 4 other characters ranging from bank alts to 65 being the highest
Refer -A- Friend comes and I now have
Two 70 Shamans
Two Hunters - one being 70 and the other being 60
One level 55 Mage
One level 55 Warlock
One level 55 Paladin
Once I level the three remaining characters to 60 I will then have enough Leveling points for two more 60's!

This guy got granted to 60.
The characters granting him levels was a 59. If he had levelled to 60 then it would have made his grants disappear. You can get 99% to level 2 and then grant 59 levels if you want to, and be 99% of the way to level 60.
