I used this to mess with a few guildies on april fools day, pretty funny when they thought my 70 got sent back to level 1

/script DEFAULT_CHAT_FRAME:AddMessage("Congratulations, you have reached level 1!", 1.0,1.0, 0)

to change the levels simply change the "you have reached level --!"

for added effect to mess with guildies/friends create a level 1 of the class you play as, and mail the gear it's wearing to your main.

EDIT: A way a person can figure out that this is fake is to use the armory, but most people aren't going to think of that when the time comes, but funny none the less

umm this works i think? but whats the point how do you get your guildies to think that you leveled back to lvl 1? all it says on my screen is the msg i told it to but no one else sees anything

You shall write "DEFAULT_CHAT_FRAME:AddMessage" and not "Default_chat_frame:addmessage"... in programming languages there is a difference between "A" and "a".
