I did this on my rogue... and it was so good! I got 50 badges in one night! Along with a few heroic bosses, but all in all, this is a great trick for transferred characters! +rep, welcome to the site!

It works on any raid/instance, I was saved for ZA from the night before, but I couldn't manage to find a good ZA group for a few days. But it will reset all saved instances

Same goes for your honor....
1year ago it was AV weekend and I farmed 20k honor and after some hours playing alone I transfered my druid to another server to play with friends. And Voilá no honor, almost 10h wasted for nothing
Carefull what you do before transfer :P
