After you create your account at the Blizzard store, there is an option in the top left to "verify email". If you click that, it will always send you a comfrimation email. I hope that helps some of you who are having trouble.

ok so let me get this straight you have to individually make 1000 accounts on the blizz store then individually activate all 1000 accounts then individually check all 1000 emails each day?
I hate to be the one to shoot this down, but everything ive seen on every forum so far shows that random opt-in invites have not been sent out yet.
Wow forums would be flooded with screenshots, and so far its only people making j/k posts.
This may work in the long run. But blizzard could have this email blacklisted for invites, and we don't even know yet if the beta opt-in on the regular blizzard site can get you an invite for the Wow beta. Because it dosn't specify which game your opt-ing for and one would assume the interested people on the Wow site would have first dibs.
Methinks someone made most of his post up, even if it is a good idea.
/agree with Gritts find it hard to believe some people already have invites and are playing on wotlk beta already.
But theres always a chance this will work in the long run
May i ask why this wont work with hotmail or any other email accounts?

Doesn't this open a situation where Mailinator might get LOTS of email that no one cares about?
Yup - Mailinator gets many millions of emails per day. Its important you know that any email that gets sent to __________Mailinator will only last a few hours. After that time, it will be auto-deleted._________
SURE YOU DID. ooops - no invites have gone out yet! none, zero! make your BS more believable next time.
you need a TBC enabled WoW acct to be eligible for the beta test. period end of story. The theory that you are entered when you sign up for (free and unlimited) accounts at blizzard.com or the Blizz store is crap: yes there is a beta opt-in checkbox, along with "receive blizz news", etc. - DOES NOT MEAN WOTLK BETA. says "future blizzard game".
However there is a very nice Beta FAQ out that states clearly, right at the top:
Q: Who is eligible for the Wrath of the Lich King Beta opt-in? A: Any player who has both an active World of Warcraft subscription and World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade is eligible to opt in to the beta at ([Only registered and activated users can see links. ]). The account must be active when the beta starts in order to be eligible to receive an invitation.
no blizz is not randomly sending out beta invites to 100,000s of blizzard.com accounts WHO DONT EVEN OWN WOW.
However if it makes anyone feel better to fill out 1000s of accounts - knock yerselves out free country

quoted for the irony of calling someone else "a bit slow"
NO BETA INVITES OUT YET.
BETA REALMS UP BUT NOT FULLY FUNCTIONAL.
This stuff is not privileged info, and rest freaking assured that exactly 10 sec after the first invite goes out it will be FRONT PAGE NEWS on wow forums, wow beta forums, mmochamp and 10 other sites like it, and wotlk wiki.
