Looting Badges/Drops off Boss with 2 Characters (same account)

You guys aren't listening, and don't seem to care about testing.

Logging out does not kick u from the raid, i've tried and tested, and confirmed that it doesn't.

The trick is to start logging on the pull, so u enter combat 10seconds from logging out, and you'll be placed on the threat table.

If you miss the logout on the pull and get into combat, u can just kill yourself and it'll let u logout when your dead, or hard reset wow, and log your other character.

we tried this on kara (attumen) easy boss, only need about 5 ppl, so 9 isnt too bad if sum1 goes awol using this bug.

what happened for me: alt and main infront of boss, obv i want main to be involved with the kill, on alt, 5 seconds before pull i start to relog, 15 seconds in combat. log onto main, hes outside the entrance and cant enter, i tell raid and log on my alt, alt gets the spell dmg ring and a badge after boss is dead, log on main, he cant get anything, and i continue the raid saved on 2 chars to a finished instance, oh well, i learned the hard way

thats why he says that both toons must be IN THE INSTANCE, near the boss. you're doing everything right, except you should have had your main in the instance too.

Except he says that both his characters were infront of the boss..

And EVERYTHING that I've ever seen this is what happens.

If your in a raid instance, and you logout of the instance, meaning logout, get dced, and anything like that, and then log on an alt, your main will be ported to the front of the instance/outside the instance. I've always experienced this...

So basically has ANYONE gotten this to work other then the OP?
