Hey, recently I got a friend to report my name for a free name change, seems blizzard now gives you a name of their choice because the $10 fee.
I was just wondering if you could possibly delete your character, get a friend to make a level 1 with the name of your deleted character, then contact a GM and make up some excuse to get your charatcer back and get a free name change.
To clear it up:
1. Delete character
2. Get a friend to make your deleted characters name on a level 1
3. Contact a GM and restore your character (make up some excuse)
4. Get a free name change because yours is taken?

The GMs will either change the name on the lvl 1 from "Isuck" to "Isucky" or do the same on the character you deleted.
Anyhow they will not change to what you want! |

Reputation: 3 | | | Are you positived? Have you tried it or are you just assuming that would happen, I honestly doubt blizzard would change the name of someone else's character for next to no reason except for the guy just happened to make a level 1 with the same name is the other guy... |

Reputation: 3 | | | Doesn't work, I got hacked and all chars deleted, made a free trial account and used my mains name to contact blizzard, and I asked them when my chars get restored will my main be prompted for a name change, They said they'll put an extra letter on the end.
eg: Akthor - Akthorr etc. |

I saw this when a friends chars get deleted (by a "friend") and he contacted the gms to undo that |

Now we can begin thinking of other theories.
whats at the most letters you can have in a wow character name? use it and they add another letter... the longest name in wow?
