[Nelf + Engineer]Gas extractor

For this you will need to have engineering 300+ and a nightelf, it should also work with any class that has stealth. if so change the 'shadowmeld' part in the macro.

Start of by making this macro:

/cast [nostealth] Shadowmeld
/use Zapthrottle Mote Extractor

After that, you need to go to nagrand.

I've found this place were you dont aggro any mobs. (Nagrand: 30.3, 62.5)
note; this is allso the spawn point of a "windy cloud".

That are the cords etc, and you should get a autoclicker or something, that clicks your macro with a 5 second delay or something. it gave me ALOT of primal airs.

what is does, it goes into shadowmeld and starts casting "extract gas" during shadowmeld so if you just stand at that point and "click" the macro it will farm you alot of primal air, since the respawn timer on the windy cloud is only 4-6 minutes, and for each time you extract you will get 3-5 motes.

So you set the auto clicker to hit the macro every couple of minutes while you are at the air cloud location. Then go to sleep / watch tv / whatever, come back and enjoy your primals. Seems like it could be pretty good depending on the respawn time on the clouds.

so what is the point of shadowmeld, does it just make it look funny becuase when you cast the gas extract dont you lose stealth?

As far as I conclude, with this macro you do the extract gas in stealth/shadowmeld. If so, that means that other players won't see you extracting the gas. But still, it works incompletely because if you press the same macro again you would go out of shadowmeld or stealth, unless you enlighten me what the [nostealth] stands for.

the '[nostealth] ' part stand for,

When NOT in stealth, cast Shadowmeld. otherwise cast ...Mote extractor.. and while sucessfully casting extract gas. it will go out of shadowmeld /stealth and grab the gas. after that it goes back to shadowmeld since "When NOT in stealth, cast Shadowmeld". if you get what i mean.

I just though I would say, a cloud can also give 6 motes.

Have been using autoclicker to farm these clouds for some months now, but since I'm on a PVE server I don't need the macro

Here are some macros I have been using for this exact same thing

Nelf - Hunter

/use Mote of Water
/use Zapthrottle Mote Extractor
/cast [combat] Feign Death
/cast [nocombat, nostealth] Shadowmeld(Racial)
/script UIErrorsFrame:Clear()

and for any type of Rogue

/use Mote of Water
/use Zapthrottle Mote Extractor
/cast [combat] Vanish
/cast [nocombat, nostealth] Stealth
/script UIErrorsFrame:Clear()

What these do is, If you get into combat, it will either Feign Death or Vanish (depending on which macro you use) so you wont die a lot of the times. And if you're out of combat and out of stealth it will stealth/shadowmeld you. Also, for long afk's the /use mote of air is great so your bags wont be clumped up with mote of air everywhere, it turns them into Primal airs for you. This macro works great and I've left it over night for like 10 hours with no one whispering me or reporting me.
