This is not the mac thing what this is, is a addon that makes this alot easier...
Its called Supermacro what it does instead of having a limited of 225 characters to a macro extends that to 5000!
I tested this and you only have to press it once or twice and it WILL work and DOES work also can use it for many other things...

Over and over again (5000 characters in supermacro) it can be w/e you want its just random spam that it tries to run and lags ur client so server thinks your still running then when you unlagg it will take you back to where you pressed the macro.
With supermacro it will allow you to cause the lag alot easier and you dont have to spam it.

I'm just casually browsing, so I'm not sure what the original exploit was, but you may find this useful. You can controllably freeze your WoW client using a long loop in Lua.
/run local t=GetTime()+5 while GetTime()<t do end
The above can be placed in a macro or pasted into the chat edit box. Change the 5 to however many seconds you want the client to freeze (partial seconds like 4.5 work too).
I have no idea if this will work with whatever it is you're doing. Good day.
