Talk to opposite faction (unconfirmed)

i have been doing this but im not sure if it works or not if you /emote what your saying they will be able to read it if anyone wants to test this and confirm for me

This has not worked and still does not work. It will show the emote as you typed it on you're screen, but the oposing faction member will see "[Playername] makes strange gestures" and thats it.

there is a way around it, i'll tell you what happened on a day when the fishing touranment was over. The fishing tournament had just ended, and i saw the winner still fishing, so i went over and fished next to him, we talked for a while, then a 52 priest (i was only 42 at the time but the winner was 59) came over and MC'd me, then he type /me tells you to congratulate the winner for me plz? thnx then he stopped MCing me.
Gist of the story: if you mind control an opposite faction, you can talk to them in emotes.

only way atm to talk to opposite faction without using a third party addon or any other "hack"

Doing the MC trick to speak to horde can get you banned. It is a reportable offense.

But not if you use it to speak to ally, because blizzard loves horde to much. (joke...but seems to be true)
