Reputation: 33 Level up: 84%, 83 Points needed | | | [Theory] Buy an arena item and "keep" the points. As you all know, when you buy an arena item and get the point refund from a GM, the GM tells you the next time you zone in or relog the item will no longer be in your inventory.
Now, onto my theory:
1.) Buy the item of your choice, and make a ticket to a GM requesting to get your points refunded.
2.) If you haven't already used all of your recoveries for your account, the GM will most likely refund the points for you. He will also most likely tell you the item will no longer be in your inventory when you zone or relog.
3.) Here's where my theory comes into play..DELETE the item before you zone and/or log out.
4.) Wait a bit, then make another ticket to a GM saying you accidentally deleted the item "x". To reduce suspicion, a good idea is to tell him that you had your s1 counterpart next to item "x" and you thought you had deleted that instead of "x".
5.) If this works, you will have your points, and your items.
I have not tested this yet, but come Tuesday I will be testing it.

That is how they know you have used your recoveries. If you do both within the span of the same play time then you are screwed because the GM will look at your account and see you asked for a point refund for the said item you just deleted and probably say thank you for taking care of the item and be on your way. |

Reputation: 33 Level up: 84%, 83 Points needed | | | | that IS a little extreme, but remember, all gms are not like that. people get away with extra pieces of armor, or extra points, all the time. if people didnt get away with it..why are there so many threads on this forum about it?

Reputation: 11 Level up: 24%, 384 Points needed | | | | This is true but you are posting this as a theory so you are putting it out there for others to try that you yourself have not already. So you do not have to deal with the consequences if something were to go wrong with someone else's' account. Now I know that is a shallow excuse since this is a site for cheating WoW and everyone should know coming here that you do these things at your own risk but at least try things out before you post them. |

Reputation: 249 Level up: 76%, 265 Points needed | | | | lol? this won't work. The GM will look at your recovered items log to see how many more you have for the account, and will notice "Hmm, the item they want me to restore was supposed to be refunded in points a half hour ago" /close ticket. |

Reputation: 11 | | | By the way about the 'number of restores', I paged 2 gms for item reinbursement and when they asked 'is there anything else I can help you with' I asked if there is indeed a limit on reinbursement, the gm answered 'To be honest, you can get as many restores as long as you arent overexaggerating', the second answered something alike. Heftydogg are you certain there is such thing as a "recovered items log to see how many more you have for the account" I mean I'm sure there is a log but is there really a limit? | | |
