Mage PoM Bug

For a long time I have used this site, and never really contributed, so here it is.

With timing/luck and lag this can be done. You must be a mage to do this, have a trinket and have iceblock. I do this on my 62 and it always works.

Have a hunter friend and /duel them. Use PoM(Presence of Mind) and trinket at the same time. Have the hunter Scatter Shot you, then iceblock. Come out of the ice block, and you should have infinite pom. This takes time to get right, as It normally takes me about 5-10 minutes to time right. Also I beleive lag help, as I am on dialup.

Could you please post a link to this ? I seen one but that vid was made ages ago and I have a feeling that got patched. This might be something new and if the video shows this being done i'd love to see it =)

Why scatter shot? Wouldn't it work with any disorienting affect that is a) instant and b) able to be ice-blocked?

Also, why only PoM? How about Inner Focus and Cold Blood?

I have multiple 60-70s, but no hunters.

Edit: since rogues and priests cant use ice block... maybe try the pvp trinket or vanish

I respecced my mage and leveled a hunter to 30 to test this... tried it about 6 times without success.

I have just tryed on the new BETA TEST PVP server.

DOES NOT WORK

I had 300ms, trinket was [Defiler's Talisman]. Just didten work.... Any other tested?

I tested it for an hour. Level 63 mage, level 32 hunter (yes, with scatter shot.)

mage:
/use 14
/cast Presence of Mind

hunter:
/cast Scatter Shot

mage:
/cast Ice Block


....Tried many many MANY combonations of this, trying lag from 63ms to 2000ms... and alas, nothing.
