To be honest, the macro/UI forum is a barren wasteland compared to the exploits section, and having a thread moved there is like a death sentence.

Explain to me how a macro can be used as an exploit, in different situations and I will think about it.

Macros are a game mechanic. Blizzard made the system for us to use.
If you find some special commands that are long and actually do something, it doesn't make it an exploit.

But as I said, please explain.

I think he means an macro that give you the power to do multiple actions or some give you adventages that ar glitchie. for example the glitch with hunters after patch 2.3.2(!?) where they can shoot multiple aimed/multi/steady shots with a macro without CD's etc., or the macro for the instant steam tonk controler actions.


Btw: bug are no errors, they features!
Each bug appear because there is a mechanic behind ist, so nothing is allowed to be posted in this forum except the things that are imposible. And thinks that don't work aren't allowed to be posted here so every thread is need to be deleted :P

Nearly all of these examples are already nerfed, but they illustrate my point:

The only thing I can think of that makes these exceptional is the fact that they took advantage of completely unintended holes in the scripting API.
