Um, no you can't. As soon as you open the first gate you come to, he runs to his position near the Gauntlet. No class can do anything at all before he moves.

Never tried it but thought of it, but if it doesn't do more then just getting him dead, then imo it's worthless.

Another way is just going around, takes longer but it gets easy for you and much better imo if you can stealth.

Actually, you can stealth from the maingate by turning right instead of left (to strat living) and you can pull him from behind and killing it normally, soloed him many times on my warrior. only problem might be the roaches what comes when you go thru one gate. Also you can find the rare boss what drops the trinket that makes every1 dance near you on use. If you have no stealth, watch out for the patrols (mostly abominations) and eyes of naxxramas. Dunno has it been fixed or something, did it around 4 months ago.

UD Strat isn't the hardest place to solo, but you'd better be 70 and have gear. Soloing it at 60? Bullshit.
