That's what I'm saying, you can use the method of getting people to 1600 and kicking them just to get your rating to 2k. Once you have your shoulders (or if you already had them) then you do what I suggested.. I dunno, just a thought. Figured that would make more money then just leveling people to 1600 lol

A little update:
* Should be 150 points below the team rating, not 100. Thanks for pointing that out Valiliv, I only skim through the patch notes, didnt pick it up.
The guide's only based on my own experience, but I updated it with your contribution.

Also, do not play with a noob. Play with a friend. Remember you need to beat the teams at the 1500-bracket, so I recommend that your friend somewhat knows how to play arena.

Instead of changing friends after a while, just have your team mate leave and join the team, his personal rating will be reset.

dude it doesnt matter 100 or 150. your "exploit" is still "win in arenas to get good ratings". yah well we already knew that.

You get matched to the AVERAGE OF YOUR TEAM'S PRs. not the lowest PR. so in your example, that's 1600 teams. When you get to 1800 and your partner resets his PR, you'll be facing 1650 teams. that part works, BUT, you only win a few points and if you lose you lose a lot more. So with your method you face lower teams but have to play at LOT more games, and win almost every one or your gains will be removed. How is this easier than playing at your normal ranking? Cause just one DC loss, or one real loss to a team that's also at lower PR cause of a new member, will wipe out 3 or 5 of your wins.

This didn't work for me either, I found we went against the "average" of our PR and lost more points if we got the often loss. It's easier just to play for real with a decent team :P

Listen, if your friend has 1500 personal rating, and you have 1850, the average will be somewhere in between, ALOT lower than 1850, thus making you meet easier teams than you would if you both were at 1850 personal rating = Profit.
I dont understand how you can fail to understand this.
If you loose you go minus 20 rating most of the time = 2 losses. Not too bad I would say.

Example number 2:
You are both at 1500 personal rating. Team is 1750. You are just starting
You will meet 1500 teams. As you climb in personal your friend stays the same rating, because he leaves and rejoins each game. Eventually you will get to the rating described in example number one, and your friend will be at 1500. Dragging you down = profit.

It could be easier yes. But not for that reason.
More like having two people staying at 1500 rating thus decreasing the average rating. Worth a try imo.

This does not work for 2000+

Here's why.
If you're at 2000 TR, but one of you has a 1500 PR. You will be queued (as the OP said) vs 1500 Teams.
But once you win, you'll only win 1-2 Rating per Game.
While when you lose you lose ~25+ Rating.

Ofcourse there's 90% chance you'll win vs a 1500 team as a Full Vengeful, but there's always a minor chance you'll face a full vengeful ANTI-combo.

Like Druid - Hunter vs Warlock - Druid.

Let's say you lose 1 out of 20. 20 x 1,5 (to take an average number between 1 and 2), you have won a total of 30 rating.
So if you lost 1, you'll have lost about 25 rating (The higher your TR, the higher the loss). 30-25 = 5 rating upwards after about 2Hours.

That means you'll require 160 hours of playing if you're going from 2000-2400. Every potential player can reach 2300 rating without having to spend 160 Hours.

How do I know all this?
Done it the day the patch came live.

Sorry Bro no Rep for you.

EDIT: Atm there are lots of full S3s trying to reach the title by using this method. You'll only lose MORE than you'll win.

Its used for only facing low-rated teams even if you are in a high-rated team.
As the guy above you stated, you have to win over those low-rated teams, which is exactly what I said in my first post. So it does work.

That's exactly the way I said it would work. Learn to read.
I never said that it specifically ONLY worked for 2000+rated teams. This is still a GREAT way to get to 1850 for the weapons.
Shit is amazes me you bother to write a long reply without having read the intital post. You are whining about what? That it works the way I said it would?

Well sounds really great

One Question i got a team + personal rating 2k+, so if i invite a twink so that we would que against teams at a 16-1700 rating ok. if we win them and kick my friend out of the team do we get the points from our personal rating or did my twink lower our points we would get?

thx

I'm hesitant to do this because blizzard may rewrite their rules and state that this is a form of exploiting and can get you banned and remove your gear.. etc etc..
