[Warlock and Hunter]Remove "inactive" without entering combat - 05-09-2008

Ever get the inactive debuff and you're not anywhere near anyone? I found a way to remove the debuff without entering combat.

All you have to do is:
Target a player of the opposite faction
Press your pet attack button
Put pet on follow

As soon as your hit your pet attack key the debuff will be removed. Pressing the pet follow key right after will make the pet come back instantly without you actually entering combat.

This works at ANY distance. You can be at LM and use it on people at BS or Farm. As long as you can target the member of the opposite faction you can get the debuff removed.

Hope this was helpful.

So you could somehow make a macro to press the control+# to do that combo...

You are a retard. this is a good exploit. you cant remove the debuff by autoshotting someone from accross the map.

I dunno about you, but usually when I'm too far away from my target, and I hit my pet attack button, my pet won't budge. I have to get closer to have it go anywhere. Then again my pets are srsly retarded and don't follow commands (thx Blizz), so it might just be that.

he means send the pet and click the follow button (cntrl+2 in most cases) so it comes right back, send and return. I thought this was common sense in any situation for anyone that uses a pet... i guess not.

but it is not possible to follow pets

I think what he means is on the action bar for a warlock there is a command that says Follow, its next to Stay, and it means the pet will follow YOU wherever you go so it will come back when its done killing.
