As everyone probably knows, Blizzard disallows the use of consumables in Arena, but there is a simple method to using a weapon coating in arena, received from a daily reward in Shadowmoon Valley. The daily gives a reward of either:

[Only registered and activated users can see links. ] or[Only registered and activated users can see links. ].

The details for this daily quest can be found at: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

Anyways what you do is complete the daily, get the reward and apply it to your weapon at Qual'Danas, then you get your arena partner to queue you into arena from a city. When the queue pops you take it, and the enhancement will remain on your weapon in arena (and will proc in arena aswell). It'll last the whole 1 hour duration too, and continue to work in arenas for the whole 1 hour duration.

NOTE: You need to remain in Qual'Danas while you take the queue, if you leave Qual'Danas before taking the arena queue it won't work.

If it works to get it on your weapon, does it even work IN arena since it has restrictions on where it functions:

While applied to target weapon, wielder has a chance to gain 300 attack power on every melee or ranged attack for 10 sec. Only functions on the Isle of Quel'Danas, on the Magisters' Terrace, and on the Sunwell Plateau. Lasts for 1 hour.

Looks like maybe you can get it on but it doesnt do anything then? Since ur not in the designated location for it to proc?

The answer is yes, it will proc in arena (as long as you apply it at the specified location and take the arena queue at the specified locations). Which was also stated in my original post.

do you have to be in quel'danas (or w/e) when u take the queue every time? thats would be hard to do :/

i just tried it, had my arena partner queue us up while i was in QD. . .
never procced at all during the fight (long fight too)

so. . . not quite confirmed, i could've just been unlucky

Tried it yesterday night and didnt work for me, never procced i guess it's because they have a "area" for it to procc in and arenas isnt on that place.
