Kill players in air - 02-06-2007
Mages and Engineers only!

If you are a mage you can instant cast polymorph anyone on their flying mount. If you are high enough when doing so, the poly'd player will fall to the ground and die. Also in doing so you inflict damage to their gear.

Engineers can do this as well with the Discombobulator Ray. Since it's an instant cast it will immediatly turn them into a leper gome right off their mount!

Enjoy.

Edit: Oh almost forgot. This is going to work best if you are a priest, mage, or have a parachute cloak since you would be up in the air too.

I believe you are immune to Polymorph, Fear, and stun abilities when in mid-air, or at least to the last 2.

Thanks for bringing that up. Yes you would need 21 points into Arcane for PoM to get the instant cast poly.

Yes, people are immune to poly when flying, but the discombobulater ray works.

yesterday mage of my guild couldn't polymorph hostile player in the air... he was imune.. dunno
