As many of you raiding Sunwell Plateau know, the first boss Kalecgos will despawn after a wipe. This allows healers to soulstone/ankh and res the raid, significantly decreasing time wasted running back to the instance.

However, Kalecgos respawns quickly (approx 30 seconds) leaving only a very small window for the healers to res. One way to despawn Kalecgos is to simply have somebody run into Kalecgos' area and die, thus causing him to reset.

A better way however, is to use an Eye of Kilrogg. As soon as the healers are up, res a warlock, who then drinks enough to summon an eye. The healers go about ressing people until just before Kalecgos spawns, when they run out of the area and the warlock sends the eye in. Kalecgos will attack the eye and despawn, allowing you to res people quickly and easily.

My first thread regarding the use of the Eye to despawn murloc packs before Morogrim in SSC got deleted because apparently "the Eye of Kilrogg can't aggro mobs", so it seems some people don't know about it.

common to raiders. tho we use a hunter to run over and FD so nobody has to die .. can use a rogue to vanish also.

As said should be common sense to any guild that has wiped even just once to Kalecgos. As for those who aren't in The Sunwell no need for them to know this cause it doesn't affect them at all and as already stated there are many many different way to get him to despawn. Running in naked and dieing right at the entrance works just as well.
