First thing you need is a mage with combustion, obviously. So say your going to AoE fire spec, and yes, you can. You get like 4-5 mobs, and then pop combustion. Now when you use an AoE fire spell, if one crits, it should crit on all the mobs, not just 3. Yes, i know it is possible it can crit even without combustion, but when it crits on all 6 mobs is very unlikely that it would happen. :P Tested several times.

Second exploit. With combustion on, cast a spell such as fire ball or pyroblast. When the cast is done, and the ball is heading twards the enemy, fire blast. If all goes well, they should both crit. I use then when my combustion is on its last charge so i can get an extra crit.

you're saying, you get your crit chance up really high, and then pop a blast wave or dragons breath, and it should crit them all as opposed to just one?

So.... let me get this right..... The exploit is that it crits on multiple targets at once but only uses 1 charge per spell ? Interesting, would have been nice if there was a way where Combustion never went away while AOE grinding

thanx for the info, but its not really an exploit.

for example, blast wave is considered as one complete spell. If you have combustion up it is made to expire after 3 critical hits, but is not limited to 3 crits. If 10 mods are around you, and you crit 5 out of the ten, combustion will expire after that. The 10%+ crit chance applies to you next spell only, not how many mobs there are around you.

It works, and its quite old. Been using it on my mage for ages, confirmed many times.

yea but now with new spells this can be used nicely, now all i need is a magE!
