Wowexploits Use 18k DAMAGE "Arcane Charges" Outside the Dead Scar - 03-29-2008
With 2.4 there came a new daily quest to bomb various mobs in "The Dead Scar"

The bombs the npc supplies (Arcane Charges) are only usable in the scar.

To use the charges outside the dead scar... take the flight path for the quest

Before you are about to exit the dead scar on the flight path click the bomb so the green circle appears on the ground but do not click again to bomb.

After you are outside the dead scar you should still have the green circle on the ground (just like if you were to bomb something)... click anywhere you want and you will shoot a 12k arcane charge at the ground

P.S. You have to use it before you dismount off the flight path

I did this today, I didn't try, but i reckon if you fired it at the right time just as you dismount, it'd kill opposite faction players since you'll become PvP tagged again before it hits, just a theory though Will try it tomorrow.

Actually as far as i know you can only get it to appear while you are in the dead scar

you can get the circle but your not tagged for pvp, so it doesnt work and you cant use the bomb when you land >< tried myself lol

Has anyone tested to see if other players actually see it? I've been throwing charges at people doing daily quests to spook them but I've no idea if they actually see anything.

I tried it and did no damage, however a horde did /no me...(was on one of my ally toons)

I'm not sure if people can see them though, no one there mentioned anything to me.
