Hi this isnt my work but i found it, and let me know if it works

Hey there! I have a shaman.He is high enough level and he is restoration, i will soon use it for raiding!
Althought i have alot of mana restoring stuff + totems i still need some mana bonus even when soloing!
So here is a small trick!

Drop down a totem that expires after X Seconds, e.g. Fire Nova Totem.


Now its this spell called "Totemic Recall" that can be used to take dispell totems and return some mana back.
So after Fire Nova Totem expires/explodes i can use Totemic recall (even tho the totem doesnt exist anymore)
and get my mana back! Thats like 300 mana free! : ) \o/

Also works with:

Fire Nova Totem
Mana Tide Totem
Stoneclaw Totem

Totemic Call - Returns your totems to the earth, giving you 25% of the mana required to cast each totem destryed by totemic call.

You have to be quick on recalling the totems. They don't instantly despawn, you have about a second to use Totemic Call.
IMO its a waste since you'll have to put the other totems down when 1 expires. You waste more mana than you gain.

Yes, but its getting some mana back, and you already used the totem and also if you need to use the totem, its getting some extra.

If you want to cast that totem, it's an easy way to get a bit more mana.

Does TR have a CD timer?

In my personal opinion (i have a 70 shaman) totems are not good for leveling. For the mana cost for 1 wrath of air totem you can get a good heal in between fights. I leveled without any food/water.

For raids you shouldnt have less than 8k mana anyways for 1 totem isnt gonna break you. When ive had to raid heal in shitty gear i can drop 4 totemz and it only uses up 1 or 2% of my mana.
