I reported a player doing this a few months ago, GM said it wasn't a exploit, and it was allowed, unless you curse....
I might have some SS, will check

The only way i ever got in trouble for this is if you say something offensive.

I only received a verbal warning, and it wasn't for cross faction speaking, it was for the language.

It's not bannable as is but as said above for what you do with it.

Like you sticking to a wall is not getting you banned but sticking to a wall 10 feet up gets you banned.

Hallo or lol etc. won't get you banned (in general) but caution, it's somehow in tolerance range ... this way it depends on the GM's mood^^
