Do you wonder how people can level from 1-70 in 2 days? They don't really do it in 2 days, they just take advantage of the instance /played bug.

How this works is that when you are leveling in instances, when you zone out, resets, and zone in again, your /played will bug ALOT. It will make your "played on this level" go down to a ridiculous lower played compared to what you should have, and that low /played on your level will add up to your total time played 1-70.

So if you want to beat some leveling records, or if you want to show off your insanely great /played to your friends, just start leveling in instances. And make sure to zone out, zone in and reset alot.

Errr? I thought they do it with planned paths, mass powerleveling and summons, but thats interesting. Does it actually reduce your total /played or does it only look like it while in the instance?

You don't get it, look at "Played on this level". It's just a test with that toon.

It does reduce your total play if you have abused the bug all the way.

Hmm, I'm not sure this will work.
1. The played time and played time THIS LEVEL is two different things, counting different, so if THIS LEVEL reset, it won't reset or lower played time overall.
2. 1-70 in 2 days can be photoshopped, or
3. [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

I'm not 100% sure about number 1, but about 90% sure.

I can confirm this. My rogue is level 42 with 15 hours played, i boosted from1 5-42 in instances. I had about 9 hours played when i hit level 15, and i probably boosted her for about 16 hours, but only gained 6 hours.

confirmed.. i as a priest gahter mobs with rank1 shadow word pain, then when i have gathere enough the char beeing boosted hits 1-2 of them. and runs to a distance.. then i dot with high rank and wait a few ticks and jump out of instance and the player in there gets the full XP for all the kills..

17-32 in about 9 hours play (in real life) with eating and all that in the mean time

Yep, Athenes playtime is certainly affected by this bug.
