Ok this shortcut tells you how to get to the second boss without clear all the trash in between.
Once your on the bridge that hangs over the water, turn walk mode on. walk off the left side of the bridge, you should land on the bridge below.(make sure u have full healths before doing this).
from there, facing the 2nd boss hug the right wall and fall onto a little ledge
follow the ledge and jump onto the land near te door.
then walk along the edge of the water to your left. so you dont pull the guardians. and you're now 1 pull away from the boss.

It never worked for you because you probably jump instead of just fall off the ledge. Most ppl make that common mistake.
