I did this yesterday in av, before seeing this post, and actually managed to work my way around the mountains with some very tricky wall jumping (took over 2 hours in one spot) and was able to walk over and sit ontop of the alliance starting cave, then over to where the druids are, and finally over to the main bunker where van is.

I've been trying to do this again with fraps running but am I having no luck, if I manage to get it done I'll throw a video up here.

I'v actually found a way that takes u completely outside of AV...like over the mountains and out into nowhere. iv taken some screenies and i might consider posting them up here soon.
