Borean Tundra farm spot

Just northwest of fizzlecrank is a cave i've been farming for 2 days with great results for minimal effort.



head to the bottom of this cave and look for the offspring of magmothregar in a little alcove at the bottom of the cave. the offspring have around 2k hitpoints and a fast repop. on my mage i simply aoe big groups down and wait 30-45 secs for a repop.

after 20-30 minutes i usually walk off with 4-6 stacks of frostweave, 3-4 greens, plenty of vendor trash. they drop 13-14s per as well.

i have 200-300 gold per hour and on my server, stacks of frostweave are selling for around 80g.

This is a great spot. The respawn times are good, and these guys really go down incredibly easy. I'm not getting as much frostweave as described, but it's still great just for the 10-20 silver and possible greens they drop.

EDIT: I forgot to mention there are a few cobalt nodes that spawn in the cave if you're a miner. On my server people will up to 75 gold for a stack of cobalt currently.

Great spot, but it should be noted that the offspring only give ~200 non-rested xp solo. Not too appealing if you're running a AE dps + healer combo.

You're getting screwed. My server is upwards of 150-200g per stack. Mining ftw.

I believe this was nerfed, was doing it all last night fine. Low spawn rate this morning.
