Exploit: Having 5 JC gems equiped

Alright this is a very clumsy exploit on how to get another +22 stats (str for example) if your a JC and a Blacksmith.
This exploit is really intended for those incredible min-maxers in fully BiS gear who donot mind spending ~3k to get 22 more stats, here goes the exploit.

1. You get BS/JC upto 400 so you can craft epic dragonseyes and enchant your bracers/gloves with an extra socket.

2. You put 1 dragonseye into your extra bracer and one into your extra glove slot and one in another third slot.

3. You drop BS, your bracer/gloves will have the extra gem slot but it will be red because you donot have 400 BS anymore

4. Equip two more dragonseyes into other gem slots, because the ones in the BS slots don't count anymore so you have, according to the game still 3 gems equiped

5. Relevel BS to full, this will reactivate your slots, thus reactivating those gems aswell

6. You cannot unequip the weapons/armor pieces gemmed with those dragonseyes because you cannot reequip them afterwards

Have you tested to see if this works? I have just read a thread about this over on mmo-champ forums and no one has confirmed it...unless they have since I closed the thread.

Edit: What I mean by people confirming it is your gear doesnt get auto unequipped when you zone or whatever, because I know there is a guy on armory with 4 dragon eye gems in his gear, though he doesnt currently have BS and isnt recieving the extra gem stats.

Yes, I have confirmed it, it works for me atm, as far as I know blizzard doesn't have any non-talent related mechanic to unequip gear forcibly, so as long as you donot unequip the gear yourself your completely fine.

Could you link me the thread on mmo-champ your talking about?

Well for some min-maxers who already have (nearly) complete BiS gear for ulduar, those 22 more stat points can really help.

Getting 22 more stat points is like upgrading naxx25 to ulduar 25 gear, if you would buy a very good BoE epic (say the shoulders off Vezax against the t7.5 shoulders), you could easily spend 3500g, which is about the price to level BS to 400

From what I know they can restore proffs within 3 days

GM's can restore professions, I excidently dleeted engineering when i wanted to drop mining and he could restore it for me

If you're in BiS gear and there is someone else who does the exact same dps as you because he is also in BiS gear. Wouldn't you just love to blow his mind by pulling out more dps than him... And getting the highest Gear Score possible?
